Gazeley UK Limited are looking to secure planning permission, by submitting a hybrid planning application, for a high quality logistics park, located to the east of Ashby de-la-Zouch and the A42, for up to 70,000m2 of B8 land use (with ancillary offices).
The hybrid application has been structured in this way to allow the site infrastructure and enabling works to be implemented and delivered immediately following the grant of planning permission. Applications for the approval of reserved matters and discharge of conditions, in relation to the ‘development plots’, can be submitted whilst site infrastructure and enabling works are underway. This will allow detailed proposals to be formulated in response to market and occupier requirements. As no end user has been agreed as yet, this allows for the scheme to be market led and adaptable.
